Mena Alexandra Suvari (born on 13 February 1979) is an American model and actress. She is also a fashion designer model. After beginning her career as a model she soon transitioned into acting after appearing as a guest on 90's television shows such as Boy Meets World and High Incident. In 1997 she made her acting debut as an actor in the film Nowhere. Her roles were in American Beauty, for which she was awarded an BAFTA Award nomination and American Pie led to her being the subject of more interest. Following that, she starred as the lead for the role of a protagonist in Sugar & Spice (2000) alongside American Pie star Jason Biggs. Spun And Trauma a thriller movie from 2004 were two of her appearances. She appeared in HBO's dramatic show Six Feet Under. In 2004 she received an award for an Outstanding Cast member in the Screen Actors Guild Awards.
