She was raised in an exclusive Upper East Side neighborhood of Manhattan in a Catholic family. She was enrolled by her parents at the Convent of the Sacred Heart - a religious, elitist and elite school. From the time she was a child, she has been a lover of music. She began to play the piano in the very beginning and composed her first solo song at the age of thirteen. She participated in open-mic nights.
